Shellie Winkler is an award-winning New York City-based communications consultant. She collaborates with clients to clarify goals and desired outcomes, create programs and content, and optimize talent to maximize individual and organizational success. Shellie has a proven track record driving exceptional results for clients while motivating and mentoring the people she’s had the privilege of leading.
Over the course of her career, Shellie held many executive positions where she led clients and teams globally, regionally and locally. These roles including chief learning officer, chief strategist, managing director and practice leader for firms such as Edelman, Ogilvy and Burson-Marsteller. Her client expertise spans health, science, professional services firms, the arts and not-for-profit organizations. Shellie’s capabilities were also honed as an in-house consultant, board member and volunteer for leading cultural institutions and not-for-profit organizations including The New York Public Library, New York-Presbyterian and Morningside Center for Social and Emotional Learning.
Concrete Advisors builds on Shellie’s passions and strengths in strategic communications, organizational effectiveness and development, leadership development, and team building.
Shellie earned a B.A. with high honors from the University of Michigan in the history of art, a M.A. from New York University in the history of art and a certificate in the principles and practices of organizational development from Columbia University. She is a published writer in art, health and communications. Shellie has also moderated and facilitated numerous workshops and panels globally in health, professional services, science, and other sectors throughout her career.
